Bob is in surgery, but ok after his fall last night at FOMBA. The shop most likely will be open tomorrow Thurs. 8/9/12, but we are not positive yet. Give the shop a call first to be safe if you are planning in coming in. I will update this when I know more. Please send good healing vibes Bob's way.

What the heck happened?

It is true -- I had a little fall on the Tuesday night ride resulting in breaking my left Humerus in 2 places and dislocating my left shoulder. Surgery was required which happened on Thursday afternoon. I was released on Friday and slept all day Saturday and Sunday.

We are going to do everything in our power to have as little disruption as possible at the shop. Jean and company came through by getting the store open on Thursday without any help on my part (I was in Alice and Wonderland as far as I could tell). But there are going to be some short term changes at the shop.

To say that I've been overwhelmed by wishes of support would be an understatement. Thanks to everyone who has sent wishes my way. To all our customers, my friends, staff and family all I can say is thanks. I will heal up and get back to my bicycle repairman duties ASAP
